I just joined Patreon. How do I access the Discord?
Discord access comes with the Trader and Quant tiers. To connect it, use a desktop computer: log in to Patreon, go to Settings → Apps (Linked Apps), and click Connect next to Discord, then sign in to your Discord account when prompted. The next time you open Discord, the Trading Apologist server appears in your server list automatically. Trader unlocks the Trading Tools screener channels; Quant unlocks the full server.
How do I get access to the TradingView indicators?
Which indicators you get depends on your Patreon tier — and, soon, individual indicators will also be purchasable in the Store (no membership required). By tier:
- Free for everyone: TA Moving Averages and the Closing Hour Pulse & Tide institutional-flow pair. These are public scripts, so they won't show up in your invite-only list — search their names in TradingView, or add them from Trading Apologist's published scripts so they appear in your Favorites.
- All members (any tier): TA Benner Chart.
- Trader & Quant: TA Gann Swing, TA Trend Ribbon, and TA Adaptive Trend.
- Quant: the full suite — the above plus the core system: TA Deviation Bands, TA Adaptive Mean Reversion, and TA Stack Attack RSI.
I'm a Quant member. How do I join the weekly market-prep Zoom call and submit questions or chart requests?
The weekly market-prep call is a Quant benefit. Each Saturday, a Patreon post goes up — and a calendar invite with the private Zoom link is emailed to your Patreon-registered address — with that week's details. Submit your questions and chart requests as comments on that post, at least 12 hours before the call to make that week's session. Calls are usually held Monday morning, about 90 minutes before the market opens (around 8:00 AM ET), with occasional shifts around holidays.
How do I manage or cancel my membership?
Your membership and billing are handled through Patreon — open your Patreon account settings to change tiers, update payment, or cancel anytime. Your website, Discord, and indicator access all follow your Patreon tier automatically.

Which market tools are free, and which need a membership?
Free for everyone (no login): the market-health dashboards Market Vitals and Crypto Vitals, plus all of the arbitrage calculators (ECHO/SPCX, MSTR Bitcoin-per-Share, TSLA/SPCX Merger) and the Bitcoin & Solana Treasury Trackers. Quant members also get the two options tools — TA Terminal and Position Designer; log in with Patreon to use them, or try the built-in demo first. Those two will also be available to buy individually in the forthcoming Store, so non-Quant members can get them without upgrading. Everything lives on Market Tools.
How do I log in to the website, and what if a member tool still looks locked?
Click Log in (top right) or "Log in with Patreon" on any tool — you'll land right back where you were with your access unlocked. If you've just upgraded your tier and a member-only tool still looks locked, give it up to 24 hours to sync, then log out and back in. Still stuck? See "How do I get support?" below.

What is the Weekly Market Digest, and how do I subscribe?
It's a free Sunday email rounding up the trading week that was — assets to watch, market and macro updates, a sector strength review, the community's best posts, and more — sent Sundays at 6 PM ET. Subscribe on the newsletter page (or via RSS). Members can turn it on or off anytime from the Weekly Market Digest toggle on their account page.

I have a technical issue. How do I get support?
A few ways: email hello@tradingapologist.com, use the contact form, send a DM through Patreon's messaging, or tag @tradingapologist in the relevant Discord channel. So we can find your account quickly, share your Patreon-registered email — and for tool or indicator issues, your TradingView or Discord username — but only in private (email, the contact form, or a Patreon DM), never in the public Discord channels.
Is this financial advice? Should I follow the trade alerts?
No, and understanding that is part of the point. Everything from Trading Apologist is built to be trading education — the goal is for you to learn by working through the educational content and by following along as Trading Apologist trades live. Even the trade alerts are educational: they let you watch a real trader's entries, exits, and reasoning in real time so you can study the process, not a signal to copy. You are always responsible for managing your own portfolio, risk, and position sizing, and every trade you take is your own decision.
